United Express Van Lines gave me a rock bottom estimate on my move from Indiana to Minnesota, assuring me that the estimate was the "all included price." Upon arriving (3 hrs. Late) I had to sign a lot of paperwork, none of it very clear to me that stated I'd agree to pay far more per cubic ft. If my posessions exceeded the agreed estimate.
The had received a fax of all my posessions as described by a competitor whom they claimed they could "beat" on the price. The truck got loaded after they two movers called in some day laborers to help "at no expense to me." My 2700.00 dollar estimate grew to 7000.00 once they truck was loaded.
Upon my astonishment, they lowered it to 6000.00. Once my posessions were unloaded in MN, I was dismayed to learn that they didn't reassemble the furniture as was contracted, and they had STOLEN my large change jug/container valued at over 420.00.
Repeated calls to United Express have garnered me no satisfaction. I have been badly ripped off.
