Truth is out on Damon Hill and Infinity Investment Services!

NBC ran another investigative story that details how this operation rips people off.

Las Vegas investment company's owner has criminal past

Updated: Sep 2 05:22 PM PDT

The number of people who say they were ripped off by a Las Vegas company is going up. The News 3 Investigators first told us about the allegations against Infinity Investment Services back in May.

Now, News 3 Investigator Mitch Truswell uncovers the criminal past of the company's owner and why clients say their credit is being used for someone else's benefit.

Infinity Investment Services operates on East Flamingo without any license to do so. That hasn't stopped the two men who operate the company, Damon Hill and Robert Herman, from doing business in Clark County.

Clients pay thousands of dollars to buy into Infinity's "proven system". It's a system that Infinity claims will get you $250,000 or more in cash. Clients even get the Infinity "absolute guarantee".

Sharon Keter's guarantee is now four months overdue. Sharon is out $10,000. Sharon is not alone. The Investigators found several Infinity clients in California, Oregon, and Washington who say Infinity never delivered.

Recently obtained credit documents may reveal what Infinity is really doing and it's not good news for clients.

When you sign on with Infinity, you fill out a form. The client offers up his or her Social Security number, mother's maiden name, and all banking account numbers.

Sharon, like other clients the Investigators spoke with, was unaware she was actually disclosing her private information to a felon. We showed a mug shot to Sharon to see if she could easily identify the face.

"Oh, yeah, that's Damon Hill. Yup, that's the C.E. O of Infinity Investment Services, " Sharon said.

Until now, Sharon and the other clients had no idea that Damon Hill is a convicted felon, something Infinity kept quiet.

A 2005 arrest report obtained by the News 3 Investigators states that Hill robbed a Las Vegas man at gunpoint. According to the report, Hill told his victim he knew where he lived and gave him an ultimatum to either come up with more money or to expect a visit to his house.

Hill was arrested. It turns out Damon Hill had been on the run for two years. He was wanted in California on two counts of grand theft auto and identity theft.

A credit report the Investigators looked over belongs to an Infinity client. It shows, as recently as July, someone with Infinity applied for various loans twenty times. It was done without the client's knowledge or approval.

"I started getting denialed [sic] app letters. I started getting calls from car dealerships about purchasing vehicles and then I would call Infinity and they said it is not us, not us, " the client said. "And then later I do find out it is them."

Someone with Infinity contacted the credit bureaus and changed the client's mailing address from the client's home to Infinity's address in Las Vegas, again, without approval.

"Now since the credit bureau is reporting that my home is in Las Vegas I have no idea what's going on, " the client continues. "All they want to do is get money as fast as they can then to turn around and wash their hands of you and say oh, sorry - we did not do that."

According to the client, Infinity obtained thousands of dollars in loans, credit cards, and a car. "I would say $78,000 that I know of, " the client estimates.

The News 3 Investigators made the Attorney General Office aware of these latest allegations. An investigation is underway.
