When I had the opportunity to start to work at this company I was promised a pay check each week for the weeks I worked prior. They even had the nerve to post exact days the payroll would go out. For the elderly that they hire, they continue to screw up and blame it on the payroll system being down or they didn't get the mail that they failed to go and get at the post office because they moved.
The thousands of Demo'ers they employ most of them are very elderly and disabled. Alot of the demo'ers have had knee replacements, hip replacements back and heart surgery. People, these are our grandmothers and grandpa's. I think they deserve a round of applause for even trying to work so diligently. One gal I know is 86!!! They drive to there workplace work 6 hours, they are told they are NOT alowed to sit at there Demo tables not even for a few minutes! Alot of them work every weekend demonstrating products to customers, making this multi-million dollar company money and what thanks do they get? Empty mailbox's, a laundry list of excuses for no pay that week. The poor demonstrator's have no other recourse but to leave a message for the payroll department because nobody is ever there to answer there dam phones.
I am happy to say this was my last day at Pro Demo Works. They had owed me money since last May, June and July. H-e-l-l-o...
I think they need to drop the (Pro) in there company name. They' are No more Professional then my five year old!
