Nationwide Relocation Service gave a binding estimate of $3,464 for 7966 lbs for an interstate moved. They brokered the move to Cross Country Van Lines, LLC. I have been informed by the DOT that Cross Country needed to stop the move and produce a new estimate to us prior to continuing if they felt that the move was going to be more. Cross Country did not and has produced documents that were completed after the fact. They now have are property and are threatening to put our items in storage if we do not pay a total moving charge of $6,649. Nationwide is deceiving and takes no responsibility for any of actions of the carrier.
