Wet Seal in boynton is the WORST retail environment to work in.
First of all they "forget" your breaks. & when you ask them about it they say "dont worry you'll get yer break". But by the time u know it you work 9-10 hours straight without a break and the mall is CLOSED. Isnt that illegal?! Not giving me my breaks after working so long?
Second, they like to change yer hours without u knowing it. I came in to work expecting to work 2-6. BUT when i get there the boss says "oh yer "ON-CALL" from 6-CLOSE u can leave at 6 if we're not busy" im like wth?! But whatever i was cool with it because it wasnt that busy and it DIDNT get busy. BUT the assistant manager comes up to me and says "I've decided to keep you here till close". For what?! Theres no effin customers.
ANOTHER thing that pissed me off was that they said i work 2-9 this one day so i go into work and my boss says "you work 2-7" so im happy that i get to get off early but then she says "but yer "ON-CALL" from 7-close". Wth?!!! So i try to get my work done by 7. BUT then she says i gotta stay till 9?! So i call my boyfriend to pick me up at 9. And he comes at around 8:30 with my daughter and stays next to me for a bit and then the assistant manager kicks them out!!! And then they say i gotta stay till 10?!! I got really effin pissed.
Whatever.
AND the third thing is we got rules right? At our store. We aint suppose to wear flip flops, have our cell fones on the sales floor OR eat or drink on the sales floor. But yenno what?! This girl was doing ALL that next to the manager but the boss didnt say shit. Wtf? And i would get into trouble if i did any of that shit.
DONT EVER EVER EVER CONSIDER WORKING THERE. Its just not worth yer time.
