I have worked for Dollar General off and on for 15 yrs.
Management positions, on both hourly and salary. On salary, I got paid for 40 hrs, but actually worked from 50 to 70 hrs a week because of lack of payroll.
January 17 I had surgery, by the end of February I was back at work on light duty. Light duty consisted of 50 hrs a week, 1 day off a week if lucky. Repeatedly spoke with DM, about needing extra payroll, to help, never got it.
I would like to know who I need to contact to see about getting involved with the class action suit.
To end this, I think I need to mention, that the asst. Manager in the store, was not offered the managers position, although very qualified to handle it. It was given to a new hire, male, as it seems, when a female manager leaves, they replace with male managers.in a district that was primarily female managers is now dominately male.
