I have owned a kitchenaid superba microwave for 3 years and at 16 months the light bulb burns out for a replacement charge of $200. Light bulb not accessible must pull microwave out from cabinet. A month later the door springs break. Was contacted for a recall on the wiring harness (for starting fires) and had the door spring replaced and now 16 months later the door spring breaks again. Mechanical junk. Beware of consumer reports it rates this unit high??? Went to kitchenaid web site and so far no response.
