Patrick Wherley and The Energy Company were the worst two things that has ever happened to me.
Buying an energy company franchise which consisted of vending machines stocked with Power Cells was the worst decision I have ever made. Here's why:
The sales and marketing material are WAY off of real world experience. Based on my and others experience, you will not earn anywhere near the income that is projected in the sales material. Our best machine location come no where near the lowest of those numbers and that does no mention the worst machines which do only a couple vends per month.
The owner Patrick Wherley is completely non-responsive after he fets your money. It was not uncommon to try calling him regularly for 4 weeks before I would get a returned call. And I would always have to threaten him with a lawsuit or other similar threat before he would respond.
The delivery time of the machines waslisted in the agreement as 45 day, but it took well over 100 days before I got the machines. Many phone messages and threats later, I was left with cheap looking plastic peices of junk and two of them did not even work because the coin mechanisms were faulty. I never got replacement mechanisms even after many many attempts to get this "lifetime warrenty" item replaced.
The Energy Company and particularly Patrick Wherley have been nothing but a nightmare, and whatever you do, don't believe a single thing that comes out of his mouth or anything that you read from his company. It is a business based on deception and lies. Patrick Wherely is the worst business relationship imaginable. Please save yourself the headach and don't waste your money on The Energy Company or Patrick Wherley.
