A book was ordered from Weight Watchers a year ago and was paid for. They have now sent a book which was not ordered and asking for payment. Their response to an e-mail stated they sent the book because I did not return a response to not send any books for furure review. I do not feel I was under any obligation to respond to this as it was not part of the original purchase package. Further, I do not feel under any obligation to return this book, even though they sent a response to my e-mail complaint to go on line and obtain a postage free label. This site is difficult to access as I have tried and been unsuccessful.
In addition, I am being asked to write them a letter stating I do not wish to be on a "selected mailing list" to receive further products or services from these so-called selected mailers.
I find this company is using unethical methods of ripping off consumers, by requiring responses by mail to negate their marketing scam. Their mailings are unsolicited and the postage and time to respond is unwarranted. I want something done to stop this unwanted mail.
