I was a customer of Verizon Wireless for about 6 years.in that time I have been verbally abused charged for services that I did not request and was refused everything I ever asked customer service for.
On several occasions for no reason new services would be charged to my bill. When I asked to have them removed, it would take months to get them off.
When I complained to the Gallatin, Tn office about the customer service, I was told "with the millions of customers we have, we don't need your business".
My husband bought a new phone and less than 6 months later it quit working. We took it to the Rivergate Mall Store in Goodletsville, TN and they looked at the bottom of the phone asked us it we had insurance on it and told up they could not help us. I emailed Verizon and was told to take it back and thell them to check the phone out. We did. They kept the phone for a few days, told us the same story and we had to purchase another phone (of course). They gave us the old phone back and when we got home, my husband took it apart and it was obviously that the screws had never been turned.
Everything I called customer service to change a rate plan or anything, their answer was always the same. You have to buy something else from us to do that or extend your contract. The money hungry liars.
I finally got fed up with them because I have a very high blood pressure and everytime I had to talk with them, my blood pressure went to dangerous levels.
My husband had a new digital phone and I still had an analog phone, which worked good in the county are that we are in. As a matter his phone was on analog all the time at home. My son needed to use my phone for a while but I only had emergency time on it. I called to have a rate plan put on it to keep the expence down for him. I was told that I had to buy a new digital phone (surprise) because they couldn't put a rate plan on an analog phone. Which I found out later was a lie. That was all I could take. I told them to turn the phone off immediately.
Almost 2 months later they turned the phone off. I fould out later a rate plan had been put on the last month, which no one bothered to tell me about. I argued with them about the charges but got no where. They were outrageous, so I made a payment on it.intending to pay the res as soon as I could. Well, I never got another bill. I tried to pay the bill online and on the phone on at least 2 occasions each and was told that the account number was invalid. So I asked for an address and account number so I could make a payment and could not get one from them.
Now over a year later I have received a bill from a collection agency demanding payment and I I don't pay it, they will report it on my credit report.
Someone should report them for their fraudulant and bullying tactics to steal money from their customers. I don't know how they are still in busimess.
