I purchased an autographed "Ty Cobb" baseball from this business on December 11,1997. The baseball was later sent back to the business on August 12,1998 for a refund because of a problem with authenticity.
James Spence, head authenticator for PSA/DNA, found the ball to be "non-authentic" in many different aspects. I was then told by this business that I could not have a refund but that they would include the ball in their next auction because they felt it to be "authentic". Their auctions came and went without my baseball ever being included. When contacted, they always had a reason or lie why it was overlooked.
Needless to say, it was never auctioned off as they promised. To this day, this business still has both the baseball and my money. I took them to Small Claims Court on Sept. 13 and won on default because they didn't show up. The judge issued a 30 day payment order for the amount owed ($1,074.60) but thet did not honor it.
I have all the papers and documents to prove this but don't know what else to do. I would appreciate any help at all and would be very generous if any of this money owed me was retrieved. Thank you very much for your help!
