Amy, Melissa Lilly, Chris. T, CHRIST, Moving truck never shows up

I contracted with Budget Van Lines to move a small amount of household goods (about 1500 pounds) from Illinois to Washington state for a total price of $1209.90 They required a credit card deposit of a little over $302.48.

The contract included the dates when the truck could show up to do the move. The afternoon of the last day, I called them several times before they informed me that the truck would not be there until three days later. That was not acceptable, because we had to leave before that.

The girl at their office apologized profusely and assured me that the deposit would be returned; actually that they would issue a credit to the card I had used. A month later, no credit.

Guess what? Emails to their address are bounced. Only recordings answer at their phone number. No messages are returned.

Any hope of getting that deposit back? I kinda doubt it.
