I ordered a $32.00 magazine subscription from an independent seller from this company Worldwide Readers Service, Inc., based out of Miami Florida. You have three days to cancel your order. My husband wanted to cancel this, so we did.
The receipt we were given had a phone number that was disconnected on it. There was an address and said to send the receipt to the address given. We made a copy of this receipt then sent in the orginal. We did not ever receive the refund back until about 4 months later. We got a check in the mail for $22, not $32 which I wrote them a check for! We figured what the heck, at least we got something back, so we deposited it in our bank.
Well, yesterday, we received notice from our bank that the $22 had been pulled from our account, and that the reason was because this company account is frozen/blocked!!!
So now, we don't have the magazine we ordered, we lost our $32, and we are charged by our bank a fee for depositing the bad check.

All which have been disconnected. Then I called directory service and was given the number 305-233-7299. A lady answers saying "Guys and Girls". I said what, and she said who are you looking for? I told her the company name and she said their number is 757-818-9497. I called that number and it is out of service. I called her back and told her. She said they had called and spoke to them 4 times that morning. She told me to call her back in 5 minutes, so I did. Then, she said to hold on and came back and said to call her back again in 5 minutes. I did. This time she said that there number is not working and would be back working by tomorrow morning. I thought for sure I heard a baby in the background...
Something is very fishy. I have read several reports all on this company based out of Miami, Florida. We have all been scammed and taken by them, and they have taken our money and have gotten away with it! I would think that a class action lawsuit should be in order against this company. I can only imagine there are hundreds of us out there that have been scammed by Worldwide Readers Service, Inc.
Please don't hesitate to get in contact with me if you have any information on this company, a working phone number, or if you know of a lawsuit against them.
