The owner of this farm has entrusted Dianne Herman Hood to manage, teach lessons and sell horses at her facility. This is an unfortunate situation. Dianne has a drinking problem and thinks it is perfectly acceptable to ride horses and drive with her 9 yr old daughter in the car while under the influence. She is also extremely unprofessional, as she uses foul language and talks about sex in front of children.
Her ethics in horse selling is also a major concern. She currently has a registered Paint for sale that she has marketed as a Warmblood of Color. (See Dream Horse ID: 1235664, www.dreamhorse.com - marketed as "Vincent Van Go Go" however his barn name is Magic) She also rated him a number 2, meaning that he is very quiet and beginners could ride him. It is a known fact that he has been sold twice for bucking and behavior problems which means that he is definitely not for a beginner. He has also done this with Dianne and has dragged her around the arena. Therefore, she is well aware of the fact that he has training issues.
This isn't the first time that she has tried to pass a bucking horse off as a beginner's horse.
Would you want someone like this being your child's role model?
