After several conversations with Kathryn Smith assuring us of the horses safety and nature, we purchased a supposedly "dead broke beginner plug" from her. She had even stated that a dog had entangled a chain around the horses legs that very day and the horse calmly stood and waited for someone to come and free her, thus proving her unflappable nature!
However the horse delivered to us was neither unflappable or a beginner horse in any sense of the imagination! The true fact being that the horse is suited only for an experienced rider with the use of an aid. Also I had asked Kathryn to send the horses bit along with her which she did agree to. However the bit sent was not even a horse size bit, in fact being a bit for a small pony and even if it had been a proper size would never had controlled the horse in any way.
During the very first week of having the horse, my son was bucked of three times. Certainly not a horse for a beginner!!! These people are not to be trusted and need to be stopped before someone is seriously maimed or killed.
