U.S. Calvary Representives Mislead me over Order I placed for Fathers Day Gifts

My father was military a vietnam vet who likes the miltary shirts and novelty that the U.S. Calvary and other online stores carry. For Fathers Day I decided to go online and order a couple of shirts and I then the next day found on the website a 101 Airborne key ring. I was sent over a email from the company about the shirts and that they would be delayed but we would get them. I then become concerned about the keyring.

I called and a representive told me that they were on backorder and that she would check the stock. She came back on the line and told me that there was none in stock in the warehouse but she did have some in the retail store next door and that she talked to a manager and that they would run next door and package it up for me and that we would get it by fathers day.

I became all excited the next day I waited and no UPS no Fed Ex no postman. I called over to U.S. Calvary and another representive told me that there was NONE. They had not ran next door and there had been nothing shipped and she didnt understand why I was told that. I also inquired about the shirts and she told me that it was the same story that there was none no where and they didnt know if or when these would be back in stock. I demanded to speak to a manager while trying to maintain my composure. I talked to a manager who was now what I would have called accomodating two days ago now I would call deceptive and one who was condesending. I told her I was upset over the keyring and the shirts and she said she knew what I meant and that she would have been upset also and that she knew how important it was to me and that she would try to make it right and that she would send out a watch and a hat free of charge to make up for it...

It would arrive on the following Monday. I agreed and still keeping my cool... I thought that screaming into the phone wasnt going to help anything or anybody at that point. She told me that she would get to the bottom of things and that it left a very poor impression on her and the company and that so many people who are military and law enforcement depended on them for what they needed and that this would not be tolerated. She said that she would have that in the mail and that for him to have a happy fathers day and I hung up feeling like the person on the other end trurly cared and that they were nice and compassionate and was really sorry about the problem and that they knew what thier customers wanted and they were all about customer service.

I later discussed this with a family member who was mad over the shirts and the keyring and told me to call the manager back and to decline the watch and the hat. I called and again talked to the same manager and told her that I wanted this cancelled and that I wanted to refuse the watch and the hat. She told me that she again that I was upset and that she would send the watch and the hat. I told her it wasnt what I wanted she said thats ok its my way of telling you I am sorry and that you were put through this and that she wanted to make it right.

Ok, regardless if I told her I didnt want her stuff to make a mends and to keep me as a customer she took me point blank at my word and didnt send it, I feel that I have been decieved and that if there were no keyrings then why didnt the rep tell me and then I could have cancelled and gone on to another online store. If the manager had truely been sorry she would sent me out at least a cheap hat with thier logo. I have yet to get a phone call or even a letter of apology. If you want to be jerked around and told a bunch of bull and not get your order and not know when you order if it is even in stock deal with these people and YOU will regret IT!!!
