I was contacted by an employee of world timeshares by the name of KATHY, she was asking if she could sell my timeshare for me. I was wanting to sell it so I asked her some questions about her company.
She seemed to be a very upstanding person, so I asked for the name of the website so that I could check them out. She also told me that they were a member of the better business bereau of SE Florida. I checked out the website and also went to the BBB to see if there were any complaints about this company. None showed up
Therefore I decided that this was indeed a company that I could trust to sell my timeshare. Was that a BIG mistake. I have only heard from them one time since giving them 598.00 dollars. I have tired numereous times to contact them but keep getting no where. I have indeed on several occasions was able to leave a message, but NO ONE returns the calls.
I believe that I have been scammed big time. At this point I have filed a complaint with the BBB of SE Florida, but don't hold out much hope for any help from them.
