As a former employee of this company I would like to make any one that is considering using their services aware of what you are and are not getting. This company does not do anything you can not do yourself, all they do is take the information you provide and put it on a form that you can get from a court clerk or the board of pardons in your state.
They DO NOT notify anyone once your record is sealed or expunged by the court. The RSVP software that they advertise on their website does not exist, yet they have sold this product to some people who already have had their record cleared. The company also just laid off a majority of their staff so while the service is adverstised at 8-10 weeks it already was taking on average 4 months for people to recieve their paperwork, not to mention the time it takes to actually get approved.
With the short staff it will take closer to 6-8 months for most cases, there are still some poor people who have been enrolled since 2006 and still have recieved nothing. Also note the company adverstised that they have been helping people since 1999, this is a bold faced lie, look at their BBB report they have been in operation since the 1999 date is when the founder/CEO Brian Poe wrote his book on expungement not when the company started processing paperwork.
Mr. Poe took a great idea made some quick money, lied to employees, and ran the company into the ground all to placate his massive ego, he believes he is untouchable and can lie and cheat not only the American puplic but also his own employees. Also be warned he is in the process of starting a nonprofit company called Hard2hire.com to funnel funds to EAS and clearMYrecord.com.
He said himself that the intention of this nonprofit is not to help people but to make money. Well Mr. Poe you may think you are smarter and more important than the people you ripoff and the people you employee, you may think your untouchable but my hope is that people will see this and a class action suit and that some one will put you were you belong behind bars. I doubt he will use clearMYrecord.com to clear his criminal history.
