I signed a 12 month term with this company for Mailbox Plus. We never received ONE piece of mail. When I called to cancel, they told me I would have to pay a $1000 cancellation fee. Well, that was more than the monthly payment of $76. So I elected to have my account drafted for 12 months at $76.
I called today, 2 months in advance of the term and was told that since I didn't cancel 3 months in advance, the term would automatically renew for another 12 months!!! OUTRAGEOUS!!!
I am fighting this with all I've got. I never saw any terms from this company and it appears they are inventing them as they go. I will be disputing this charge with my banking institution.
Almost forgot, they charged me a $160 retainer fee that gets returned once the contract is up. I'll probably never receive that.
