I also used Harlen Cone for my wedding. It was the biggest mistake I have ever made!!! First, he came late, then argued with the person who was doing the video. Once we started taking pictures, he only took pics of my husband and the Groomsmen. I finally came out and he only took a few pics of me and then he added the wedding party and parents. I got NO pics with the guys and my husband got NO pics with the girls! Then when the wedding started (late) He stood in front of my Mother-in-law the whole ceremony!
Once we got done and went to do the reception, our DJ; (Who was AWESOME) was told by Harlen that "you have to get everything done and fast cause we're leaving at 6:30" My DJ then told him the way that we wanted it done and Harlen told him "I know what to do."
So once we got the reception started, he was no where to be found and neither was the person doing the video. We found him hiding, and falling asleep! The person that was doing the video was across ed the yard, under the patio next to the house. So needless to say, when he was leaving he told me that he would contact me in 4-6 weeks! That's a long time I think. Well, I got married on March 22 and it is now May 5.
I contacted him through E-mail on April 7 to see how the pics were coming along. He called me back 2 weeks later to say that he would call me back in 2 weeks. I never got a call from him. I then E-mailed him again on April 22 and he actually called me just now to tell me that he's going to pick up the pics from the lab tomorrow or Wed.!!! Much longer than the time frame that he gave me. I hope that the pics and video come out OK and that I don't have to contest to my mother's credit card comp. To get her money back.
DON'T use this man to capture the most happiest day of your life cause he's just going to ruin it! I hope that no more brides get into contact with him! Do your resurch, it helps out in the long run!!!
