Venture Capital Financial
Fraud

I too have been scammed by Venture Capital Financial. After doing research for a small business government grant online this company contacted me. I spoke to Bob Perez.

Bob asked if I had filed for any other grants and asked several questions about my company then asked to put me on hold. When he came back he advised me that I had a file number and would be approved for a grant anywhere from $50,000.00 to $100,000.00. All I needed was to send a $435.00 Money Order via express mail and I only had three days. Once I sent the check I needed to call them back with my tracking number for them to follow up.

That night I went home talked to my husband about it, read their guarantee agreement (the one stating that if I didn't get a grant they would refund my money), went to their web site & checked them out at BBB. BBB said they had not had any complaints in 36 months so we went for it.

The next day I called Bob & asked several questions like what would be the next step after this. He informed me that within 3 to 4 weeks he would have the grant documents mailed to me so I needed to have a 6 month cost analysis of my company. He also advised the whole grant process from beginning to end would only take about 3 months. He gave me his direct number of 908-364-4011 on top of the toll free number of 866-875-5366. I felt confident so that afternoon I went to the post office, mailed my check & called Bob back with the tracking number.

After not hearing anything for 3 weeks I called Bob back to see when we were going to get the packet. Bob advised me that I would see it by the end of the week or the beginning of the next week.

A week later still nothing. So I tried calling again, both numbers, and they were disconnected. I e-mailed no reply. So I contacted the BBB and the police. BBB contacted me three weeks later to say they had no reply from the company and the case was closed but I could take legal action on my own if I wanted to. After some persistence with the police I got my file sent to the NJ Police department. A police officer went to the address and it was a Mail Boxes Express. The police officer went to the counter and found out that Mail Boxes Express had about over 100 other people coming in asking the same questions. They turned this over to the US Postal Inspector. The police considered the matter closed.

I do not. I am trying to reach the US postal Inspector. His name is Daniel Forester and his number is 973-693-5426. I urge you to contact him if this has happened to you. Lets take these SOB's down. I put a lot of time in this at the very least I want my money back. But what I really want is for these people to know it is not okay for people to do this to others and they messed with the wrong girl. I am fighting back.
