Not refunding deposit

I canceled service with Verizon Wireless in January to be effective February 13th. When I spoke to the customer service representative, she said it would be about 4 to 6 weeks to receive a refund on the deposit I had paid to start my contract. They owe me $235.19. I called again around the 15th of March to check on the refund. When I spoke to another customer service representative they told me that it could take up to two billing cycles to recieve my refund and that yes Verizon Wireless owes me the $235.19 but that it could be the begining of April to Mid April before I receive the refund. I called Customer Service again April 4th to find out what was going on, if it had been mailed, or where in processing it was. The customer service rep informed me it hadn't even been processed yet and he didn't know why. He was going to start an inquiry on it and that it could take up to 72 hours to find out what was going on with it, and why there was a delay, that somebody would contact me to let me know what was going on (I had two other people sitting at the table with me who can verify this). Today is April 10th and I still hadn't heard from Verizon, so I called. I was informed that the inquiry could take another 3 weeks before I could find out any thing. This is well past the original 4 to 6 weeks I was told and we are going on 8 weeks since I canceled my service with them. They seem to continue to give me a time line and fail to meet it. I've been lied to repeatedly now and I'm fed up.
