I purchased a KC Chiefs jersy from slap-shot.com in 2007 for my husband. After discovering it was too small I contacted [email protected] to request an exchange for a larger size. They did not answer my e-mail, phone calls or fax. I decided to keep the small jersey for myself and order my husband another one in a larger size. Since they had sent the first one I didn't think there would be an issue... I was very wrong. I ordered his jersey on January 231 and paid for it via PayPal direct electronic check on that day. Slap-Shot.com received / cleared my electronic check and took $99.98 USD from me via PayPal. They never sent me the jersey. I started e-mailing them after 2 weeks, after 6 or 7 e-mails I started calling. Their phone number is ALWAYS busy. It is off the hook. I started Faxing, after sending a fax 2x/day with all the details for over a week I started some internet research. The person who is listed as the contact for the website states that he "sold it a long time ago" but the site was renewed last year. He is a PA and I'm sure he knows that I've got no recourse at this point. Long story short, I'm out 98.99 and got nothing to show for it. Slap-Shot.com will not respond to phone / fax / or e-mail and the only person listed as a contact says he knows nothing about the issue. BUYER BEWARE! Don't order anything from Slap-Shot.com
