Only a recording on phone line despite 954 BBB complaints

We ordered Direct TV and it has been a few months and still nothing. I went online to bbb.org and they have 954 complaints in the last 36 months and 501 of those in the last 12 months. When you try to call, all you get is a recording, so what I do is call as if I am ordering, then ask to speak to a human, not a machine.
