I signed up for Central Casting in March and worked on and off during the summer and fall of 2007 I worked as a Non Union extra on several TV series booked though calling Central Casting. Then of course the Writers strike happened. Now that the writers strike is over I started calling the Non Union Line from Central Casting and I found a Job that I would be perfect for. They were seeking Military Looking guys. Well I am a soldier in the Army National Guard and served in Iraq in 2003 to 2004. I have been enlisted for 7 years. I have a good work ethic and always on time if not early for call times. I have no idea what could have put me on their not Hire list. I called for the before mentioned casting call for Military Guys when I called in I was told I was not registered any longer. I know I paid for Two years registry fees and I thought I was still in good standings I never received a phone call or letter saying otherwise. I called and also went into the office no one was able to tell me what is going on other then that I am on the Do Not Hire list. It really upsets me deeply what they don't want to hire me cause I am a soldier thats the only thing I can think of. I will keep updating this complaint until they fix this issue.
