South Blount Utility is quick to rip people off, I tried to pay my bill on 04/01/08 on the phone with one of their people over there, I called around 8:19 and ask if I could do a check over the phone payment and she said no we only accept debit/credit card payments—I said well I no longer have a debit card at this time, Can I bring a check over there later in the day and she said no I just pulled up your account and you will need to pay $106.20 in order to keep your service on, I said why that much? And she said they added a $50.00 fee to my account and it was being cut off, I told her it wasnt off yet, I just came in to work at 8:00 and it was on when I left, she said it didn't matter if it was off, that charge automatically went on if my account wasnt paid by that morning in the drop box, Im sure they had just opened at 8:00 and I called at 8:19, so I just wanted to let everyone know how RUDE those people are over there, and I looked at my bill yesterday and it had the bill amount and then under it it said that if you pay after 03/31/08 then its this amount, and that amount was a $2.00 difference not no $50.00 difference and it didn't have a cut off date on my bill either,
So it don't matter to those people what the circumstance is, they are gonna get ever dollar they can! So to all of you who have their service, you better watch them—if its not already happened to you!
