Where do I start with Cyprus Moments.
I first made contact with Cyprus Moments in Jan where I enquired about ordering chair covers as I was starting up a new company. After many phone calls and some of them from Cyprus moments chasing us up to place an order we finally place an order on 1st May. We paid 50% of the moment into a Barlclay Bank account and had to pay the remaining balance on completion.
Due to this being my first order I had concerns over the measurements of chair covers and Paul and Andria both reassured me that the sizes would be taken into consideration. On the 14th June I got an email from Andria saying the goods had been made and could I make final payment so we did.
After the payment was sent, I had trouble getting hold of either Paul or Andria for a couple of week due to them being involved in the bryan adams concert in Cyprus. Once this was done I finally got hold of Paul he said he wanted to send over a chair cover sample to make sure they fit and that the factory were happy to adjust the other if they were wrong - Once he sent this sample I tried it on the chair and it did not fit despite them saying previously that the measurements would be taken into account when they were created.
I went back to paul and asked for them to be amended and this was at the beginning of July. I then when through a large patch of not being able ot get hold of Paul due to Andria being in hospital and he was speaking with doctors and could not take my calls. This went on for a month or so.
When we got to September i got promised the good would be delivered and after i got back from holiday there was nothing delivered. I them rang Paul again and he said DHL has not be charging people properly so he had to sort that mess out - So I suggested to Paul that I get the good that had apparently been made to be sent to me and I would sort out the Duty tax, but he would not have that.
In October Paul told me that he didnt know when he would get the problem with DHL sorted so he would refund me my money but he was waiting on some m oney to come in - That has never materialised.
In November I raised a County Court Judgement against them against the address in cambridge and I got a letter back saying he didnt live there any more depsite that being the address on the contract I had signed.
Since then I have had conversations promising, me my money back once he has sued two doctors in cyprus and it would only take two weeks to sue them for 250K and this was at the beginning of January.
If any one can help me with this I would be grateful as I dont know what is left i can do. It does not surprise me that I am not the only person who has been ripped off my these people.
Whatever you do, dont deal with these people, you will only create yourself problems. I have gone to Watchdog already and will do whatever it takes to get my money back.
