I got sucked into this because somehow they got my cell phone number and called me like 8 months ago saying that I have the possibility of winning $1,000, 000—NO CATCH. THEN, they told me of some great magazine offer, so i agreed to get ESPN and TIME.
As it turns out, I ended up getting 5 different ones as well, even though I never asked for them. They charged my bank account numerous timesw/out fair warning, charging me soemthing like $68 every month.
As I noticed my bank account constantly being overdarft, I called them up and demanded money back from them. They told me that we had a deal and that I owe them like $500; this being the reason why they kept taking the money out of my account.
I told them it was bogus, but they didn't care. They started to charge me something like $24 instead, even though this meant more payments every month.
When i realized that they were giving out my credit card number to different companies, then I got pissed off and called them up an demanded money back. They, again, said no and continued to charge me.
When my account got to the point of -$365, i decided to pay my account off and then close it, trying to get them off of my back. As it turns out, they send me letters telling me that they are going to send out a collection agency to collect my money and screw my credit for a long time.
I eventually got a hold of them and agreed to pay them off because I was fed up with their b.S. So, they told me that they were going to charge me $107.
Two weeks went by when I noticed that $275 was taken out of my new account. I contacted them and demanded that money be placed back into my account and for them to charge my credit card instead. "SURE", they told me; and I am still waiting for that money to be placed back into my account.
I called them up recently and the customer service representative told me that they could only place $217 back (even though that was the last payment I had made with my previous account). When I asked them about the $275 dollars, they told me that they could only give me back $217, therefore succeeding in, once again, screwing me out of hard earned money.
I'll admit that I love a good deal just like any other guy, but I don't like being robbed! This company does just that, robs people w/out any remorse, sympathy, or concern for you.
Don't get trapped in to this hell hole of a "deal". When/If they ever call you hang up on them, but first tell them off for me as well as the rest of the DISsatisfied "customers" everywhere
