I subscribed to a 3-month Match.com membership at $59.97 which was confirmed in my account interface. This corresponds w / their widely advertised monthly rate of $19.99. However, I just noticed - as my membership was about to expire - that my bank account has been charged $29.99 EVERY MONTH of these three months which is of course $89.97. Has this happened to anyone else?
I'm following up to get my time extended or a refund. I am thinking of reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I'm sure they do this routinely and assume that some people won't notice what has been charged to their bank. This is FAR too common on the Internet and we should fight it.
