I too signed up in a moment of weakness with match.com. They led me to believe that a 6 month membership would be taken out in monthly installments. I was surprised when they took the whole six months out in one large payment. When I asked about a refund, less than five DAYS later, I was told that they had no refund policy.
I had to threaten that my bank would pursue the matter and that I would report them to the BBC. I received a reply that they would refund my money, less a month's membership fee (around $35.00)
A company that does not have a refund policy is a ripoff. Plain and simple. And I'm still considering going to my bank to get the rest of my refund from them.
