I responded to the Walgreens.com adversment I am sent weekly via email and placed an order in which, after purchasing qualifying products, I was supposed to receive a "Heart Healthy Package" worth $75. I never received the package.
I contacted Walgreens on eight different occasions, being told at different times they didn't know what I was talking about (so I sent them a copy of the ad), waited, never received a response, then received several responses varying from, "we're sorry, we'll check into it", to, "perhaps you should contact the company that makes the Heart Healthy Package yourself". I asked on four different occasions to have someone in a managerial capacity to contact, and each time I was told someone would call me... No one ever did.
I was told this had been "forwarded to corporate"... To make sure, I contacted "corporate" myself... And five weeks later, still nothing. I have had minor problems in the past with Walgreens and have let them go, but this time, I plan to see it through. I'm beginning to think they rely on the fact that, too often, people get tired of trying, stop shopping there for a while, the forget the whole incident and return.
