JK Harris took me for around 5,000.00 dollars in 2002. They never filed a OIC with the IRS. Then in 2007 I find out I'm in Class action suite against JK Harris.
I new nothing about it, I wrote the court to get out of and was denied. Now I not only still owe 20,000.00, I don't have any money to hire anyone else to help me.
I'm a single mom living from pay check to pay check. Now I find out the court settled for 6 million. That's like 6 cent on the dollar. How's that going to help me or any one else. I don't care of JK Harris go's out of business
or not, they need to be put in jail after they pay back everyone like me. I filed with them in interest and pentely have been adding up since then. What am I suposed to do now.
That Judge should be put in jail for settling the case for a fraction of what was needed for people to get there money back.
And thanks so much to whoever filed the suite against them, you screwed me royally. If I can find out who you are, I'm filing a suite with you. I never got anything in the mail about this suite. Appartnetly if I DIDN'T sign it and return it within a certain amount of time, I was in the suite. Guess what? I never got anything in the mail. What screw ball thought that one up.
I think it would have made more since to have someone sign and return it if you wanted in the suit. Once again Guess what? The mail gets lost!!!
Now I have no money to hire anyone else, I have a 6 six year old to provide for, and the reason I have this tax problem in the frist place is because myhusband left me in November of 1999, therefore I had to claim Single for
that year and had not counted on being divorcedtherefore I did not pay enough in estimated tax, and when he left, he took my money. So I endedup owing 7,000.00 more in taxes I didn't have. I found out I was pregnut, lost my store, and my mine for awhile, I didn't pay 1999, I couldn't, and thendidn't file in 2002. Now I owe 20,000.00. And no my ex owes nothing my store was in my name.
JK Harris took advantage of me, the IRS took advantage, the people whofiled the suite against JK Harris screwed me up royally.
