I encountered their payphones in San Francisco airport. When I entered a long distance number the phone said "$1 dollar for 3 minutes, please insert coins or use your card". When I ran out of quarters I used my debit card.
When you use a credit card or debit card they charge you $10.40 (NCIC Operator Service) for 1 minute and it looks like they also get a third party to charge you for $15 (Network Communications).
So I have around $100 charged to my card for around 10 minutes of call time.
The REBUTTAL by the company (which I have seen on this site) is a joke as they tell you what the call supposedly costs when you dial the number. Why would anyone think to call unless they told you that charges by using a card might be higher.
