In September I called Touchfon to cancel my service. The operator ended my service and gave me a confirmation number. Approximately 1 month later I was surfing the internet and came across a website that had people complaining about having problems with cancelling thier service with touchfon.
At that point I didn't think twice about it because I had already cancelled my service. Today Feb 6, I recieved a bill in the mail from a collection agency for $90 that touchfon had submitted to them for collection. When I called touchfon, they had no record of me calling and cancelling and did not have a confirmation number. Luckily for me, I cancelled the debit card that touchfon was using to bill me with, so they were unable to bill my card. Since they couldn't bill my card, they racked up several months of service and turned it over to a collection agency.
