Calls my home continuously

Let me first start by saying that I am sooo glad that I found this website and also that I DO NOT, NEVER DID and NEVER intend on having an acct / with CC. You may be asking yourself "what's the problem?"

Well, it all started after my brother got an acct. W / CC and called them from from my house one day for me have some money electronically put in his acct. (from my checking acct.) to bring it up to date. Somehow, he must have given them my phone # in order to do the transaction. It all went down-hill from there, but I just didn't know the extent of it.

First they just started calling and leaving recordings to call CC. I assumed they were talking about him b/c I've never had an acct. With the sorry (speaking my opinion) company before. After I told the customer svc rep. That he no longer lived there, gave her my brother's home #, in return, I was then told that if I had no acct. # to give, my phone # couldn't be removed from their system.

Now, I'm gonna be honest, the reason it didn't bother me so much the first time I was told this is b/c the person I talked to was nice and polite. It became evident to me weeks later that it's possible all of their 'customer svc reps' didn't receive the same kind of training.

I am still receiving calls from them and about 45 min. Before I got on the internet to do some research on the company I got a call from them. The person I spoke w / 'Mike' asked for someone else besides my brother. Told me that the guy's mom gave him my # and said he could be reached there. I had a feeling who it was, told him that no one lived there by that name and that my brother had an acct. W / CC. At first the schmuck denied that he was calling from CC. Then he had the nerve to tell me that we needed to stop playing games. That's when I got really pissed off!

After he hung up on me, I used the 866 # that they had left the day before and called. After putting in fake 16 digit acct. # 2-3 times I was finally talking to what was supposed to be a real live human being. It turns out it was a real live jerk, all three of them. The first supposedly was transferring me to a supervisor or someone in charge, instead I was disconnected. The next two, after being really rude, hung up on me. That made me even more mad, which is why I am venting my frustration now.

I told the second guy that if they continued to harass me I was going to sue them. I strongly suggest those of you that have had it worse than I have to not threaten to sue them as they constantly do to us (yes, I have had other companies call me in the past) but to seriously look into doing it. There are all kinds of laws out there to protect us, so please try to find the time to research them and use them to your advantage.
