I contacted a man called chris hornbill who said he had Yorkie pups for adoption. After a few emails i was sent one saying i needed to pay 128.00 for shipping costs via money gram. I had to send 150.00 altogether. Cash was sent, i was told that puppy would be with me in 4 hrs after payment was received.
After just half an hr i got a call from 23796692845 an African man told me i needed to pay a further fee of 175.00 as my puppy needed insurance. I said i would pay but i didn't. I rang back and said you pay and when my pup is here i will reimburse you. With that he laughed down the phone and cut me off. Upset as i was i realised id been scammed.
I emailed mr hornbill who sent back that he was not a scam and was very upset at the suggestion. After emailing him once again saying i too was upset that i had lost my money and had received no pup / i've not heard from him again so far.
I did however get another call from above num telling me my pup had been returned to the owner and that i would not be getting my cash back. I said id informed the police to his reply was that of laughter and then he put the phone down. I realised that after i read some forums on scams that any moneygram or westion uni transactions are most likely to be rip offs. I wish id read them 1st...
