My wife and I were getting Parenting magazine for free. They never sent us a bill or subscription notice. Then a year and a half later we get this North Shore Agency (NSA) collection notice. I do some research and found out it's a huge scam. These $@#! @ magazine companies use this as a subscription tactic. So we call Parenting and they say well you were only supposed to get 2 free subscriptions. We start blasting them and they say just give us the phone number at the top of the North Shore bill.
So obviously they work with them because she knew what we were talking about. So if they know the company why do they need the phone number? They should know it already. So that phone number is obviously bogus and has something to do with an account number. It wasn't a 1800 or 1888 it was a local 631 NY #.
Also, I thought Parenting mag was reputable. The girls says ok you may get one more notice but don't worry about because we are in Tampa and they are in NY. Funny that Parenting says they are in Tampa because there is a class action suit against NSA in Florida. Jameshoyer.com/problem_north_shore_agency.html. Those dirty $@#! I am pissed. How many people have they taken advantage of? DO NOT PAY. There is no credit risk. Kist filthy jacka*es trying to get money.
