A few months ago my TV died and I went to Circuit City to shop for a new one. This was shortly after they had made headlines by laying off their older, most experienced sales people.in the store I was assisted by a chino-clad adolescent who was literally munching from a sack of potato chips while attempting to answer my questions. It was bad enough that his replies were garbled as he continued to eat, but he also fired a projectile of his spittle in my direction while talking, and it landed on my shirt. I concluded that Circuit City's new business model is unsustainable and I will no longer do business with them. I drove a few miles to Sears and received courteous, knowledgeable service from someone roughly 20 years older than the neophyte at CC. I made my purchase from Sears.
