In the spring of 2006 SCI Stamps had a promotion for a mailing service and as I had an accounting firm and real estate brokerage. I thought we might have a need for the services they were promoting and they would also provide a postal scale.in the fall of 2006 I found out that I was being activated with the US Army to Afghanistan for a year, at this time I tried to contact SCI and stop any activity, to no avail. I had not received anything from them nor requested anything from them.
In December I again tried to contact them and also contacted Bank of America to have them stop paying SCI, again no action taken by either party. I was sent to Afghanistan in Feb. 2007 and there is no way to communicate except by email, I was unsuccessful to contact SCI Stamps. I had my Power of Attorney in the US attempt a couple of times to contact SCI Stamps and she was not successful either.
I have just returned from Afghanistan and was able to access my Bank of America account and my credit card is still being charged the $15.99 charge that I had requested both SCI Stamps and Bank of America to discontinue.
If I cannot contact them, how am I to stop these payments?
