Added $20.20 to my phone bill for collect call i did not receive, when contacted an told i did not receive call as much as called me liar. I live by selfe and did not receive any collect call Brighton

Charged $20.20 to phone bill for collect call from colorado, where in 1st place i know no one. When i called them rep as much as called me liar said i had to have answred and accepted it, an there was nothing i can do about it. I did not accept a collect call i am 65 yrs old on fixed income so never accept collect calls, i told him also i live by my self so no one else answered like he suggested. He told me very rudely i had to pay for it, it was my call and i accepted it, after about 20 minutes of not being able to reason with him i hung up. I never would have accepted collect call and no one here to do so. He also told me call waas from a pay phone, i just want to know how this could happen so it dont happen again and want my 20.
This was on my land line phone.
