I am a Fort Collins, CO resident that likes to eat out regularly. I have used the site activediner.com a few times now and they seem to only have great reviews of most all restaurants in town. I have followed a few of the good reviews and have been absolutely astonished at the bad quality of some of these places that were recommended.
Naturally, you would think the site is used for the general public to voice there opinions on where they like to eat but I have tried many times now to post negative reviews of some of he places I've eaten at. I feel as though I've been ripped off by what seem like fake - hyped up reviews.
For example they said one local steak house was a place that is used as a culinary example for World class chefs all over the world. My Wife and I went there and it was one of the trashiest places I have ever been and I was served one of the worst steaks in my life. I couldn't even finish it. I would have rather eaten a steak at Denny's. Seriously. Well just had to throw out a rant about this website because with their fake review site I was ripped off financially by spending money at bad restaurants. Thanks
