On Feb. 24 I signed a contract with Copeland Marketing to sell a condo in Destin FL., after they repeatedly called me (at least 10 - 15 times) saying that they had buyers for my property buy no listings. At that time I gave them $595.00 which was to be refunded at the time of sale. Needless to say, they never sold the property, would not return my phone calls and would not refund the money.
I sent all of the necessary documents to the Attorney General's office in FL for the Class Action Suit to hopefully get a refund but have never received any money. I just learned from Ripoff that the case is now closed and that they only went through the first 3 & 4 letters of the alphabet.
I would like to be informed if anyone knows of anything else that can be done to these disgusting people. I don't know the Florida laws, but it appears to me that they committed criminal acts by blatantly misrepresenting or lying about everything, taking our money under false pretense and false advertising. Better than getting my money back, would be to see them behind bars!
