Run around no refund and no service

On December 14th, I had a mental moment and ordered a "Good Package" resume services from this company. I added an additional service and pait with a credit card through Google in the amount of $340.00. Within an hour someone phoned and left me the 213 number to call to coordinate my service. I phoned but a woman answered (asian accent) and simply said hello. I asked who I was speaking to, she replied "Janet" and I apologized as I thought I had the wrong number. I tried again, same person. I did a reverse phone directory and found that it was a residental number, but that was the number given. I googled the number and found a rash of complaints on line.

Now, feeling foolish for not researching it earlier, I phoned the sales number for the company and spoke to Vic Paterson. Told him I wish to cancel my order and no services were rendered. He stammered and gave me the 213# number to call, which I said was a personal number. He insisted that if I was to call again, it would be fine. After much badgering by him, I phoned the 213# back and lo-and-behold, the same Janet answers as Resume Writers. I explain that I wish to cancel my service. She argues with me for awhile then says I must speak to manager who will give me a confirmation code later that afternoon. Janice would call me at 2pm PST.

Of course, she does not.

I phone at 3:30 to then number given to me by "Janet" and connect after 4 tries. (the first three calls are answered then hung up) I am connected with Judy Winters. Judy knows my name and the package I purchased but is more interested to see if I have logged into their site, or if I have talked to anyone. Which I have not other than the ones to get my refund. I explain that I have no intention of using their service and, since there has been no service, I would like a full refund. We argue for at least fifteen minutes with her insisting that I have to talk to someone about the resume or learn about the product. I insist I need to do no such thing and request, (sternly) that I would like a full refund. She tells me that I will have to call back on Monday (this is friday) and speak to yet another person as she cannot do a refund that day. When I asked why not, she commented that it was too late in the day (3pm in PST? I don't think so) So we haggle over that, she tells me to call Monday, "not to worry no service we give you money back" But she wants me to call at 2PST again, I insist that I will phone earlier as apparently 2pm is too late in the day for them to make any changes. So now I wait.

Also I went on Google and found that when I made the initial call they had not accepted the payments. After that they did take the money (and by now I have already requested a refund) and after talking to "Judy Winters" they posted that the "merchandise had been shipped in full" Which, there was no merchandise and nothing was shipped.

I am hesitant to think they will refund anything at this point. I have filed with my credit card company with the above information and a lack of product. Perhaps they can get somewhere.
