In August I began looking on the internet for an Edwardian, or Gibson girl wig to go with a costume I planned to wear for a Dicken's Christmas event. This event was to occur on December 1.
I found the website for Vintage Studios owned by "Countess Galina". I spotted the perfect wig on her site and emailed her to ask a few questions about it. I noticed on her website that this item could take 6-8 weeks for delivery. She responded quickly to my email. Specifically, I asked if she could guarantee delivery of this item prior to December 1st because I would not need it if delivered after that date. She said I would definitely receive it prior to that date and she would hand write a note to the supplier to make sure it was delivered on time.
Immediately I sent $253 through her Google website. Weeks went by and I heard nothing.in the second week of November I emailed her to see what the status was and to make sure it would be delivered on time. She did not respond. The following week I sent two more emails. Again, no response. The last day of November arrived and I was in a panic. I had the costume for my event and no wig to complete it. It was too late to try and find something else. She is a dishonest person. Do not do business with her!
