Warning!!! 9mm Clothing LLC is claiming to be hosting a contest searching for models for a national magazine spread promoting their clothing. They ask you to purchase a $45 t-shirt, take pics in it, send them in and they will select a winner to receive a huge cash prize and spread. BIG SCAM!
I ordered 1 shirt from 9mmclothing through their website, 9mmusa.com, on October 23. I did this after being told that in order to enter their 'model search' I needed to send them pictures of myself in their shirts. Although this is a shady way to sell some shirts, I actually LIKED the shirts anyway and was happy to buy a couple of them! So not only was I very disappointed to not receive the products, I now feel ripped off and am quite certain that there are a number of women out there in the same situation. I sent numerous emails to the company asking about the shipping date and expected arrival of the shirts, but got no response. I, like the others who have posted on usacomplaints.com, have tried to call the Ohio phone number, it is now not in service. How convienent!!! Here is the last email I sent to Steve:
"Steven Macecevic,
It has now been over a month since I placed my order for one your shirts. I have not received it and have gotten no response to several emails inquiring about their arrival. I am now forced to cancel my payment for them since they obviously are not being sent and you have
declined to respond to any of my inquiries. I am very disappointed since I actually liked the shirts and didn't care if your "Shooting Stars Competitor" campaign was to sell shirts regardless if you would have even picked any models. But, now, after researching your company on the internet, I have realized you are a scam. If you are not, I apologize and please send me my shirt!!! Many have already posted you as a scam and I will join the forces if need be. Please be advised that the appropriate consumers affairs bureaus will be forwarded this information in hopes that others won't also be disappointed and lose their money. Your company will be posted AGAIN on usacomplaints.com and appropriate action will be taken. If you feel this is unreasonable, please contact me and/or reimburse
my credit card."
Please don't fall scam to 9mm clothing or Steve Macecevic. He posts on various US cities' Craigslist.com — RED FLAG HIM!!!
