What happen with us is similiar to the other postings on this site. They contacted us and were very pleasant. I gave then the information on an account that is a few years old that we were unable to collect on along with their documentation. They told me there were no fees involved, only if they collect the funds would we have to pay them for their commisions. After only a few days "Marcia" called and suggested that we send it to litigation immediately. She waned $8,000 for the attorney fees up front! I told her that we were not dishing out any more money on this account. If sending it to an attorny was the only way to pursue then we decline. I thanked her for all her help and that was it. A couple days later "Ed" called and nearly insisted that we pursue this case and sent it to court. He said that the debtor was about to file banckrupcy (how he would know that I don't know) and that it needed to be done. A very pushy man. Again, I said no, we were not paying anything up front. He continued to call me and pressure me into sending him the money. I contact the BBB in California and they have a bad rating for them. Then I saw this website! I immediately sent them a letter stating that if legal action was the only way to pursue then we want to cancel our file. I just received a bill from them for $5,000 for the administrative fees. I've tried calling their office and ironically there is no answer. Along with their bill is a letter threating to sue us for cancelling our account!!
