Company ruined special occasion! Flowers were pathetic. Staff/managers extremely rude & argumentative. Do not use this company!

My daughter made the mistake of ordering flowers from this company. She ordered 2 separate arrangements for my birthday which were to have been delivered on 11/27/07. The first arrangement was supposed to have been a dozen lavender roses - my favorite. When I opened the box, I was absolutely appalled at the sight of the flowers! They were basically miniature-sized roses. The largest rose measured 1 inch tall and about 1/2 - 3/4 inch wide! They were definitely wilted and they all had spots on the petals and the leaves looked like something had been eating on them! I immediately called the company and spoke to Crystal. I explained the situation to her and then she had the audacity to tell me that it was company policy that she couldn't speak to me because I wasn't the customer! When I asked to be transferred to a supervisor, she refused that request as well - against company policy. So, I had to call my daughter up (who is on disability and saved up her money to buy me these flowers) and tell her what bad shape they were in. You just couldn't even begin to imagine how very disappointed she was because she had tried so hard to make my birthday special. She was conferenced in to Crystal who simply started to argue with us... We asked then to speak to a supervisor. After an EXTENDED period of time (I guess they were hoping we'd hang up), Danny comes on the line. We were immediately informed that he had no desire to speak with me - the receipient about the condition of the flowers. So my daughter, through here tears, had to do the best she could do. Danny argued with us stating that there was no way the flowers could have possibly arrived in that condition because they screen and select their vendors very carefully. There was no apology offered whatsoever and defintely no compassion for the fact that they ruined a special occasion. He said that another arrangement would be sent and that was it. We let mw know that we felt like he was rude and is response - No, I'm curt! We asked for his last name and company addresss, etc. And he refused to provide it. Then he terminated the conversation by hanging up the phone. I had no idea that my daughter had ordered 2 separate arrangements. Later in the day after realizing that I had not called her to thank her for a second bouquet, she called me only to find out that I had not received this 2nd delivery. She then called them back and she was told that the arrangement wasn't scheduled for delivery; then she was told that it was lost... No compassion or apologies were offered. Today, is 11/29/07 and no 2nd arrangement has arrived and the company refuses to speak to me. I sent the company an e-mail requesting the president's name, address, etc. Their response - Thank you for your email. There is no order number for our company to reference in the below email, and we do not find an order this would be in reference to under your first, last name or email address. If you have any questions, concerns or a complaint you would like addressed, please feel free to contact our Customer Service management by sending email communication to [email protected]. I responded back with my daughter's name and of course, they haven't responded. As to the replacement of lavender roses - STILL DISGUSTING! The filler that was used - had clumps of dirt all over the leaves. The roses still had spots, were very small in size, the leaves were actually wilted, as were the flowers. If anyone is interested in seeing pictures - I've got them and will be more than willing to share. You see, when I spoke to Danny and offered to e-mail him a picture of the 1st arrangement, he didn't care. But those of you that are considering buying from this company might be interested in seeing what your dollar buys! I will continue to file reports online about the company on every available website so others won't have the same or worse experience!
