I contracted with this company for $3500 to deliver a "certified" business valuation report as well as to introduce me to potential buyers in order to sell my business. The target he (Bill Busche / Legacy Acquisitions) promised verbally and in writing was the hidden buyer market not available through normal business brokers. He also claimed that if they could not present quailfied buyers to me that they would refund my money in it's entirety.
As to introducing me to anyone, I did not have one single person ever presented as a buyer in any shape, manner, or form of communication in the entire one year contracual period. Using a local business broker here in Seattle I had over 25 people look at my business and it was sucessfully merged with another company using the same sell price as we used with his firm.
This business is a shell game with no products / services, no certified appraisals, no "hidden" buyer market, and sad to say no refund as promised. I paid $3500 for them posting the business on seven web sites that cost about $180 and they pocketed the rest which is straight out fraud.
Other people who have written about Mr. Busche and his tactics he claimed that they were disgruntled employees, bad partners, ad infinitum. I am a real business owner in Seattle, not hiding behind any wall, and will answer any and all requests for further information. This guy took $3500 of my money and didn't deliver ANYTHING!!! STAY STAY STAY away from him, the sham of a company he supposedly has, and hopefully you read this before giving him your money upfront as you will not receive any products and/or services and will never get any part of your original investment back.
On a previous post, someone mentioned a contact at the FBI which I am going to presue vigorously. My legal counsel looking over his contract feels we have a great case for interstate fruad and also can make a justifiable and easily winable claim in small claims court. I've won a number of times in small claims (up to to the judgement level and never got a dime) but the satisfaction that if this con man keeps the same personal name / ever owns real estate I get first dibs when he sells it e. G it is well worth it to me to travel from the west coast to Naperville, IL and stare this guy straight in the eye.
Just like Ron Goldman with the money he won but never received from O.J. Simpson I am never going to forget, walk away, and I will do everything in my physical power to get my money but also hopefully put this guy in jail. My heart just dropped when I first "googled" his company and found out about Bill Busche / Legacy Acquisitions and the multiple candid comments from this web site as well as others.
My other main hope in posting this is that other people don't get ripped off by him and his company as I most certainly did!!! The way I was raised was that "THOU SHALL NOT STEAL" and I still folllow that guidance but it's very apparent that other people don't.
