Aone Leads - Neal Deutsch
Did not fulfull contract

On July 3 I paid $1500 to Aone Leads using a money order. The contract I signed indicated I would receive 15 live transfer mortgage leads for $100 each within 7-10 business days.

Email I sent 7-9-07:
Please call me to let me know how this is going to work. Ie. Times I need to be sure I'm available.

Reply from Aone 7-9-07:
Ill give you fare warning, I am running campaigns this week, a nd than run leads through call center, so it will be arou nd 5 to 7 days head start

Aone email 7-29-07
Please be ready starting at 10:30 am eastern sta nd ard time Mo nd ay July 30th, leads will be directed to your loan officers on dedicated telephone lines that you provided, no forwarding to cell phones, any live transfers that are not picked up by client, will be charged at the rate of $200 per transfers, please govern accordingly

My reply 7-30-07
I've been away since Thursday evening and just got back this afternoon and I'm so glad to hear from you! I connected a phone to my land line like you told me to. I'm ready!

Neal claims they tried to transfer calls but I didn't pick up. When I told him that was impossible, I have caller ID and also was at the phone waiting, and waiting. Then Neal said he was working out some kinks.

I emailed Aone 7-31-07:
Neal,
From what I've been hearing, getting quality leads is a really tough beat right now. I'm doubting there are even enough to go around given your already established client base. I need to be out in the field if no calls are coming in. Please be sure to call me today to discuss.
Thank you,
Jill

He never called but sent this email:
U cant ha nd le more than 1 call, I have calls back to back on your states

I never received a phone call from his call center although I waited a couple of weeks. He did forward some complimentary lists of supposed leads for me to follow up on in the meantime. Here's my reply to him regarding these:

8-17-07
Hey Neal,

I appreciate the fact that you are thinking about me and forwarded some complimentary leads for me although I'm having zero success with them. The thought does count and again, I want to thank you for that. Yesterday and this morning I've been working them and here's what I've got so far:

12 total calls - 7 went to voice mail and 5 I spoke with. Are you ready for this? 5 out of 5 said they weren't waiting for a call/have not inquired / are not in the market for financing.

What's up with that? Lol I'm taking off early today, heading down south. Will be camping/surfing/sunbathing in San Diego this weekend and won't be back at my desk until Monday afternoon. But I have my phone with me and want to talk about what the heck happened when the call center tried to reach me. I have caller ID and I swear, not one phone call came that week. Must be a glitch and I want to get it cleared up asap so I can work the live leads

On 8-24 I received this email from them:
The live leads for mortgage is becoming a dead issue for all the applicants, that is why I am only doing veri exclusive leads at the call center starting yesterday, the mortgage biz with all you los is going down, my debt consolidation leads, insurance, education, travel etc leads are doing well, especially with live transfers, I am trying to save the mortgage lead end od it, so I am merging with idata, to only do mortgage, they will distribute and track, mortgage leads, so expect a call from adam smith next week, he will forfill all contracts on mortgage leads for aoneIdata, I am very sorry your industry is hurting, and I will do everything in my power to always help you and all my other clients, thank you,
Regards, Neal

The point is I'm out $1500 and asked for a refund. I've left messages asking for a return call on my cell phone, been told they would call me to discuss and they never call me. I've been really patient and understanding, giving benefit of the doubt to Aone but they continue to ignore my concerns and requests.

Finally, Aone has the BBB icon posted on their website. This means they are a member, right? Fooled me! Last week I filed a complaint with the BBB and discovered Aone is NOT a member. BBB does have a profile on the company but this is only because complaints have been filed against them. BBB's rating for this company is "F".

I expect Aone to refund $1500 for several reasons but I think the bottom line here is Aone broke contract week of July 16. Per contract 7-10 days would have been July 16. I am busy in the field now and so it is too late for them to fill my order and I told them so in September. I waited, and was hopeful but now I'm fed up.

I'm filing this report in addition to the BBB because of the lack of customer support and effective communication on Aones part.

The BBB's record indicates 4 complaints prior to mine. Out of the 4 complaints only 2 did they agree to perform according to their contract.
- 1 they refused to settle.
- 1 complaint remains unresponded to.
