I baught a computer from Rentway on 11/8/00.in Jan. 02 I took the compt. Back to them with sound & shutdown problems. They ran a restore disc on it and gave it back. On 4/11/01 I took the compt. Back with the same problem, they ran a restore disc again and gave it back. They told me this would fix it.
On 8/15/01 I called they're tech support with the same shutdown problem, support sent me to windows update website and had me run a shutdown update. On 8/16/01 I took the compt, back to Rentway for the 3rd time, same problem. They once again ran a restore disc while I waited for it this time to make that is what was done and took the compt.
Home after a few hrs. The problem continued even after several updates from windows. On 9/12/02 the compt. Crashed. This time I called tech support again and was told this was caused by a virus, my scanner is also burnt up. On 9/13/02 I took the compt.
Back to rentway for the 4th time and explained what happened to the compt and scanner. They once again wanted to run a restore disc, I told them no, I want the compt. Replaced or the harddrive replaced. And my scanner replaced. Joe Morris Reg. Man. Wanted me to take an old rundown replacement.
I said no and just took it home to find out the modom on it is messed up. I can't work without a compt. Or scanner. Now I am without both. I am very angry and dissatisfied with the bad service I have gotten.
